Demonstrating that there's little that the corpulent handyman can't turn his hand (or foot) to, Next Level Games' Mario Smash Football (or Super Mario Strikers in the US) offered strong soccer activity in a vivid bundle with Mushroom Kingdom occupants lighting up the lovely game and adding a little energy and fervor to procedures - no nil-nil draws here! The perfect inverse of the recreation style that 'legitimate' football match-ups were going for, this is a speedy five-a-side free for all that did alright to get a comparatively fulfilling spin-off on Wii.
